Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I want to share my adventures in travel and food.  Hope you will enjoy it!!

Eskimo Candy: Kihei, Maui

Eskimo Candy: Kihei, Maui

Maui has a special place in my heart made even more special because I have family there.

I really loved the name of this cafe, Eskimo Candy, because it's so not Hawaiian or exudes paradise-like feelings.

At first, you may be apprehensive about this little market and café, but it's a local spot!  You can get takeout or eat-in and the food is light and delicious.  You would think that eating coconut shrimp and chips before the beach would make you feel a bit gross -- not this place!  The fish tacos were magical.  I've had my fair share of fish tacos living in Southern California and they were light, crisp and flavorful.  They also have a poke bar so you can design your own bowl.

Other tips: seating is limited, parking lot is tight, clean bathroom.
